This market resolves YES if the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit reverses or vacates the federal district court ruling in a way that restores the enforceability of all or a material part of New York's Climate Change Superfund Act before July 1, 2027.
It resolves NO if the district court ruling remains controlling through the deadline, the appeal is dismissed or withdrawn, or the Second Circuit affirms the ruling. Filing an appeal alone does not count as YES.
Trading closes at 2027-07-01 03:59:00 UTC, corresponding to June 30, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET. If a qualifying appellate disposition is published earlier, trading must stop and the market may resolve immediately.
Primary resolution sources: the official Second Circuit docket and published opinions, plus official New York Attorney General or New York State statements that describe the appellate disposition.
