Each outcome asks whether “Saxony-Anhalt snap election called?” is satisfied by a different deadline, allowing expectations to be compared across shorter and longer time windows.
The available deadlines are December 31, 2026 and March 31, 2027.
Each deadline uses the exact qualifying event, source, cutoff time, and time-zone rules documented in the Resolution Rules below.
This market will resolve to “Yes” if a snap election is called in Saxony-Anhalt by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No.”
The calling of a snap election requires the formal dissolution of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt, or another formal scheduling, according to the rules of the jurisdiction, of an election for all members of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt prior to their scheduled election at the end of the legislative term. Dissolution by resolution of the Landtag, dissolution following a failure to elect a Minister-President, and any other means of dissolution provided for by the Constitution of the State of Saxony-Anhalt all qualify.
An announcement of an intention to seek dissolution, a failed vote on dissolution, or the failure of coalition negotiations will not by itself qualify toward a “Yes” resolution.
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the government of Saxony-Anhalt and the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
