This market will resolve to "Yes" if Liam Lawson is officially confirmed as a race driver for any Formula 1 team for the 2027 FIA Formula One World Championship season between market creation and March 1, 2027, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A qualifying confirmation is an official announcement by a Formula 1 team that Liam Lawson will be one of its race drivers for the 2027 season, or the inclusion of Liam Lawson as a race driver for any team on the FIA's official 2027 Formula One World Championship entry list. The team Liam Lawson drives for does not matter. Roles as a reserve, test, simulator, development, or third driver will not qualify, nor will appearances limited to practice sessions. An official confirmation prior to the market's close date will immediately resolve this market to "Yes". Any later change to the 2027 driver line-up, including Liam Lawson being replaced before or during the 2027 season, will not affect the resolution. If Liam Lawson retires, or no qualifying confirmation is made by March 1, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution sources for this market will be official announcements from Formula 1 teams, Formula 1, and the FIA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
